Description
José van Dam and Jeanne-Michèle Charbonnet take the lead roles in this production of Dukas's opera, recorded live at Barcelona's Gran Teatre Del Liceu in 2011.
After becoming the sixth wife of Barbe-bleue (Bluebeard), Ariane is given seven keys to seven doors, but forbidden to open the last.
After discovering riches beyond her dreams behind the first six doors, the inquisitive Ariane moves to unlock the seventh.
Other members of the cast include Patricia Bardon, Gemma Coma-Alabert and Beatriz Jiménez.
