Description

Sam Shepard stars in this Western as a middle-aged Butch Cassidy.

Nearly 20 years on from the infamous standoff in which he and the Sundance Kid supposedly died, an ageing Butch Cassidy (Sam Shepard), now known as Blackthorn, is living a quiet life in Bolivia, keeping his head down and earning his way by breeding horses.

But when he meets Spanish robber Eduardo Apodaca and hears of his daring heist plan, he realises this could be his big chance not only to relive the glory days but to buy his way back home.
