He details his gardening philosophy and explores the seasons both practically - covering pruning, sowing, maintenance etc - and aesthetically, looking at the importance of colour, perfume, light balance and many other elements within the garden.
Home Farm accompanies a major 6-part series to be broadcast on BBC2 in February 2001.
