Documentary that follows a group of homeless South African children who earn the right to represent their country in the inaugural Street Child World Cup.
The event took place in Durban in March 2010, just months before South Africa played host to arguably the most high-profile sporting event in the world, the football World Cup.
The aim of the Street Child World Cup, beyond providing a boost to the lives of the children involved, was to draw attention to the plight of homeless children around the world.
The documentary focuses on a group of children from Durban itself and brings to life stories that can easily be ignored amidst the glamour and excitement of a large sporting event.
