When news filtered through the media that Stuart Cable, the drummer with a larger than life personality - and an even larger head of curly hair - had been unceremoniously sacked from one of the biggest rock bands in the UK by his best mates, the music world was stunned. By his early twenties they were performing in local working men's clubs and by the mid-1990s they were signed up by Richard Branson to his new record label V2. But life hasn't all been a party for Stuart and here, for the first time, he addresses the dark and difficult times he experienced after his career as a drummer with Stereophonics was brought to a sudden end.

His life was turned upside down the day he got that call from Kelly, but determined to succeed he got his life back on track and went back to his musical roots.

Now he is launching his quest for superstardom once again, drumming for another band, Killing for Company, and hosting his own chat shows on the radio.
