Description
Classic political thriller directed by Fred Zinnemann.
World-class assassin The Jackal (Edward Fox) is hired by the right-wing OAS to kill France's President De Gaulle (Adrien Cayla-Legrand) and sets about meticulously planning the assassination attempt.
Meanwhile, French police investigator Lebel (Michael Lonsdale) learns of the threat from an informer and attempts to piece together the clues to The Jackal's identity before it's too late.
The cast also includes Alan Badel, Tony Britton and Cyril Cusack.
