Description
British drama set in the depressed shipyards of Clydeside in which a shipbuilder plans a revolutionary new cargo vessel but suffers a setback when the board of his company refuses him the necessary funds to build it.
Undeterred by their lack of vision, he presses ahead using his own fortune but is forced to resort to forgery when his cash runs out.
