Aileen Lauren d'Autriche (voice of Rie Takahashi) is engaged to Cedric Jean Ellmeyer (Toshiki Masuda), the heir to the throne, until he publicly cancels the engagement.

This causes Aileen to remember her past life and she realises that she has been reincarnated into a game as the villainess and is destined to die.

To prevent this from happening, she decides to earn the loyalty of the final boss meant to kill her, Claude Jean Ellmeyer (Yûichirô Umehara), Cedric's older half-brother who was disinherited when his half-demon status was revealed.

He is destined to succumb to his demonic side, kill Aileen and then die himself, but as Aileen grows closer to him, she finds herself falling in love with him and hopes to avert his tragic destiny as well as her own.
