Description

Potter. Advertising executive Jim Blandings (Grant) and his wife Muriel (Loy) are Manhattanites seeking a new home for themselves and their two daughters.

Jim selects a 200-year-old farmhouse in Connecticut, but upon moving in discovers that not only was he hideously overcharged, but the property needs extensive repairs and renovations.
