Description

Bollywood family drama following a young schoolteacher who is made to marry the man who raped her.

When Mala (Rani Mukerji) denies the advances of her friend's brother-in-law Raj (Shadaab Khan), he proceeds to beat and rape her as punishment for embarassing him.

After the police get involved and the case goes to court, the judge orders that the two be married, much to Mala's disgust, but eventually the two begin to fall in love when Mala's goodness begins to change the malevolent ways of her new husband.
