Double bill of comedies featuring war between felines and hounds. 'Cats and Dogs' (2001) sees a battle for global supremacy waged not between nations or religions, but... cats and dogs! Unknown to humans a war between the two has been fought for decades but there is currently a very fragile truce in place.
However, when wacky Professor Brody (Jeff Goldblum) makes a discovery that could tip the age-old battle between the rival domestic pet species, Lou (voiced by Tobey Maguire), a feisty young beagle puppy, must act to prevent the felines lead by Mr Tinkles (Sean Hayes), a white persian cat, from achieving world domination.
The sequel 'The Revenge of Kitty Galore' (2010) features the voices of Bette Midler, James Marsden and Nick Nolte.
When power-hungry Kitty Galore (Midler), hairless Sphynx cat and former agent for feline spy agency MEOWS, decides to take over the world, the Dogs HQ spy organisation reluctantly joins forces with Kitty's former cat comrades in a last-ditch attempt to stop her diabolical plan in its tracks.
Leading the campaign against her are police dog Diggs (Marsden) and his mentor Butch (Nolte), while Kitty's allies include the mice and devious cat Mr Tinkles (Sean Hayes).
