Description
Kevin Bacon stars in this US musical drama directed by Herbert Ross.
Ren McCormick (Bacon) is a city teenager who moves to the small town of Bomont where dancing has been banned by the local preacher.
After falling for the preacher's rebellious daughter Ariel (Lori Singer), Ren decides to fight against the dancing ban so that the high school's senior class can have a prom.
The cast also includes John Lithgow, Christopher Penn, Sarah Jessica Parker.
