Description

All the episodes from the miniseries based on the novel by Joan Lindsay and set in Victoria, Australia in 1900.

On a picnic trip led by their meticulous headmistress, Mrs Appleyard (Natalie Dormer), a group of boarding school girls revel in the opportunity for adventure when they are taken to Hanging Rock.

Warned against venturing out to the craggy, overhanging rock, the girls go against their headmistress's wishes and set out to explore the mysterious mound.

When three members of the group vanish, however, one of the girls is left traumatised and unable to account for what happened.

What follows is a web of confusion and rumour as the whereabouts of the missing and what may have befallen them remains unanswered.
