Description

David Wu directs this three-part American mini-series starring David Carradine.

D.B. (John Reardon) was abandoned at birth on the docks of Shanghai, and rescued from certain death by the resourceful thief/conman, Bird (Carradine), with whom he forges a close bond.

Years later, a daring mission to steal a valuable gem from the royal castle changes the course of their lives forever.

During the highly dangerous mission, D.B. falls in love with the beautiful princess Li Wei (Desiree Siahaan) - but in order to win her hand he must face an ever more challenging series of tests.
