Description
Hong Kong romantic action thriller adapted from the classic ghost story by Songling Pu.
General Wang Chen (Kun Chen) rescues a beautiful young woman Xiaowei (Xun Zhou) from the scene of a battle and takes her into his household, little realising that Xiaowei is actually a fox spirit who feeds on human hearts and skins to maintain her youth and beauty, and plots to usurp the place of Wang's long-suffering wife Peirong (Wei Zhao).
The romantic entanglements become increasingly complex and multi-layered as Wang's former boss Pang Yong (Donnie Yen) yearns for Peirong, and lizard spirit Xiao Yi (Yuwu Qi) hankers after Xiaowei.
