Description

US action drama directed by Mike Phillips. Drafted in as a replacement to fly a B17 Flying Fortress in the skies above Sicily when the previous commander is killed in action, fresh young pilot Michael Schmitt (Bug Hall) quickly learns that acceptance from his adopted crew has to be earned, and even then it isn't a given.

With the mortality rate soaring as the squadron's missions become increasingly perilous, the crew receives orders for a high risk attack on Rome, a mission that will test the men's camaraderie to the limits.
