Description
All ten episodes of the Channel 4 legal drama following a group of young barristers working at the defence chambers in Leeds.
Chief Clerk Peter McLeish (Philip Davis) is the most driven and conniving of the group.
Determined to succeed in his profession, he casts aside morals and a social life in search of success.
McLeish presides over a range of barristers, including Alex (Rupert Penry-Jones) and Billy (Kevin McKidd), who at times aren't sure whether the single-minded Peter is trying to advance their career or destroy it.
