'The Naked Gun 2 1/2 - The Smell of Fear' (1991) finds Drebin (Nielsen) back on the case, but still nursing his wounds following the end of his relationship with beautiful Jane Spencer (Presley).

However, the pair are unexpectedly reunited when Jane's boss Quentin Hapsburg (Robert Goulet) secretly hatches a plot to destroy the planet Earth's environment!

Forced to go undercover in order to infiltrate the gang, Frank unwittingly arouses the suspicions of his doting bride Jane (Presley); even if Frank succeeds in foiling the terrorists on the big night, can his relationship with Jane survive?
