Description
Hannes Holm writes and directs this Swedish comedy drama adapted from Fredrik Backman's novel.
Spending his days visiting his wife's grave and doing his best to avoid those closest to him, surly 59-year-old widow Ove (Rolf Lassgård) has earned a reputation amongst his neighbours for his bad temper and strict principles.
However, when pregnant Parvaneh (Bahar Pars) and her family move into the home opposite, Ove's life takes an unexpected turn for the better.
Despite her reversing over his mailbox, Parvaneh and Ove soon begin to build an unlikely friendship which causes Ove to reconsider his outlook on life.
The cast also includes Filip Berg, Ida Engvoll and Tobias Almborg.
