We spend much time and treasure (which Jesus commands us to do) on the earthly needs of others, but we are too timid to even mention that they are doomed for eternity if they reject Christ.

Charles Spurgeon said, If sinners will be damned, at least let them leap to hell over our bodies: and if they will perish, let them perish with our arms about their knees, imploring them to stay.
