Description
Agnieszka Holland directs this biographical drama focusing on the life of Czech healer Jan Mikolásek (Ivan Trojan/Josef Trojan).
The film follows Mikolásek's life from his formative years and across both world wars as he spends three decades treating people with plant-based remedies, with his work acquiring great acclaim.
However, it is his treatment of the Czechoslovakian president in 1957 that brings about his downfall.
