Murder Must Advertise tells about a story of Victor Dean, an employee of Pym's Publicity Ltd., who accidentally fell down the stairs and died.

The day before his death, Dean just wrote a letter to Pym, the director of the company, to reveal a horror story to be verified, so that Pym hired a private detective, Lord Wimsey, to investigate the matter.

Lord Wimsey was so resourceful that he finally cracked this very strange "e;suicide case"e; after many explorations and verifications.

However, things were far from as simple as they seemed.
