Description
American fairy tale adaptation set in Renaissance Italy in which 18-year-old Danielle (Drew Barrymore) has been reduced to the level of a servant by her wicked stepmother, Baroness Rodmilla (Anjelica Huston), after the tragic death of her loving father.
When Danielle first meets Prince Henry (Dougray Scott) their lives are poles apart, but on their second encounter, with Danielle dressed as a noblewoman, romance blossoms as they both feel an undeniable connection.
How will Prince Henry react when his father, King Francis (Timothy West), reveals his plan for him to marry the Princess of Spain?
