Description
Documentary about American indie-rock band The National.
The film begins as National frontman Matt Berninger invites his younger and less successful brother Tom along on their worldwide tour to work as a roadie for the band.
An aspiring film-maker, Tom decides to take a camera with him to document the band's journey.
Expecting the tour to be one filled with drugs, booze and women, Tom is disappointed when he finds out that the band are a lot tamer than he expects and while he conducts interviews with the band members, Matt grows more and more impatient with his careless attitude and unreliability.
What begins as a rock documentary then takes a more sentimental turn as the film becomes more about the relationship between the two siblings and Tom's need to create something worthwhile for once.
