Description

Blitz Bazawule directs this musical adaptation of Alice Walker's Pulitzer prize-winning novel starring Fantasia Barrino and Colman Domingo.

Over the course of 40 years, the film follows the life of Celie (Barrino), a poor black woman who endures years of abuse from her father and her husband Mister (Domingo).
