Description
James Mason stars in this melodrama featuring three sisters who all have very different experiences of marriage.
Lucy (Phyllis Calvert) marries a kind man, but loses a child and struggles to hold her family together.
Vera (Anne Crawford) has a ball as a self-absorbed philanderer who scarcely notices her own child and prefers the occasional young stud to her boring husband.
