Description

Mel Gibson plays Tim, a slightly mentally retarded builder who is often taken advantage of by other people.

When Mary (Piper Laurie) takes him on to work on her yard for the day a friendship develops and soon Tim is working full time for her.

As their friendship grows, people start getting suspicious and accuse Mary of taking advantage of Tim.
