Description

Documentary about how music therapy is being used to aid people with Alzheimer's disease.

The film follows the pioneering work of social worker Dan Cohen and his charitable organisation Music & Memory which advocates the use of music to treat those suffering from memory loss.

Director Michael Rossato-Bennett follows Cohen as he visits nursing homes and, with the help of iPods, demonstrates how music can help restore residents' memories and their deeper sense of self.
