Book Preview: #1 The first part of the book is an introduction to the institutional private equity market, from early-stage venture capital to growth equity and buyouts. While buyouts have historically been the mainstay of the private equity industry, venture capital and growth equity investment have seen a steady increase as the industry has matured.
