After teaching English for thirty-three years,thirteen of which included supervising the schoolyearbook staff at Pontiac Central High School, heretired to his summer home on a lake in the upperpeninsula of Michigan. He spends the warmest half of the year at Pike Lake in Luce Countywith his wife of more than fi fty years.
