At long last, Kalita revives this South Carolinian grail single, housed in a limited-edition picture sleeve. Originally penned and produced in 1976 by husband-and-wife duo William and Elizabeth Robinson in Greenville, South Carolina - a city steeped in musical heritage - the record was released in a run of just 200 copies the following year on their own label, Warmer Productions. 'Doing Our Thing With Pride' epitomises the best in uplifting crossover gospel disco, equally suited to both peaceful listening and dancefloor action.
