In the musical 'Jeanette - The Childhood of Joan of Arc' (2017), set in 1425, eight-year-old shepherdess Jeanette (Lise Leplat Prudhomme/Jeanne Voisin) has a religious awakening and becomes determined to fight back against the English forces invading France.

In the sequel, 'Joan of Arc' (2019), young Joan (Leplat Prudhomme) prepares to lead her soldiers into battle but is captured and denounced as a heretic.
