In his stories biting satirical technique is used to vividly portray the real social life from the Revolution of 1911 to the "May Fourth" period, exposing the numerous contradictions in society at that time and highlighting Mr. Lu Xun's strong sense of concern for the national survival and his strong desire for social revolution, as well as his spiritual journey of exploring the path of saving the country and the people.
