Pop culture permeates how we live, move and in songs, movies, novels, memes and TV shows, the convictions and the most piercing questions of our generation are evident. Pop culture is a secular liturgy: the terrain where personal identity and collective memory are carved out, the set where the scenarios of possible futures are rehearsed.

Twenty-first century theology is faced with the titanic task of establishing a mediation between its foundational certainties and the frenetic experiences that surround us. Like every Christian generation throughout history, we are challenged to reenactin a new setting and in the face of unknown challengesthe old story of salvation.
