But who actually is this Bonhoeffer? Do we really know him? ln this magisterial collection, leading international scholars discuss and critically interact with the ways in which a variety of significant figures have engaged with Bonhoeffer's thought since his death.

The aim of the volume is threefold: firstly, to demonstrate the profound and ongoing influence of Bonhoeffer on thinkers of many kinds; secondly, to help those interested in gaining a greater understanding of these other figures and movements; and thirdly, to offer invaluable insights into how Bonhoeffer might be interpreted.
