Description

Four-part documentary telling the story of Muhammad Ali.

In 'Round One: The Greatest (1942-1964)' Cassius Clay rises through the amateur boxing ranks to win gold at the 1960 Olympics in Rome aged 18 before turning professional. 'Round Two: What's My Name? (1964-1970)' sees Clay become a Muslim and take the name Muhammad Ali.

He dominates heavyweight boxing for three years but when he refuses to be drafted to fight in the Vietnam War he is stripped of his titles and not permitted to box.

In 'Round Three: The Rivalry (1970-1974)' he returns to boxing and fights Joe Frazier as he attempts to regain the heavyweight title.

Finally in 'Round Four: The Spell Remains (1974-2016)' Ali defeats George Foreman in 'The Rumble in the Jungle' and Joe Frazier in the 'Thrilla in Manila'.
