Description

Documentary directed by Shaleece Haas about the journey of transgender teenager Bennett Wallace and his mother, Suzy.

Even as a young child it becomes clear to Suzy that 'Rachael' is not at all comfortable as a girl.

Having been raised in a reserved, Presbyterian Texan community Suzy is resistant to her child's transition and any possible surgery at first, but she grows to understand her child just as Bennett grows to understand and embrace his identity thanks to a vocal LGBT community.
