Box set containing two documentaries from acclaimed filmmaker Stacy Peralta. 'Riding Giants' details the origins and history of surf culture.

There is no way of telling the story of big wave riding without telling the story of surfing itself, a sport that has become one of the world's most potent symbols of youth, adventure and freedom.

At the heart of the documentary are the funny, spirited, often poignant and dramatic stories told by past and present surfers.

It presents a picture, not only of these extraordinary characters, but also gives an authentic insight into the birth, development and ultimately the global appeal of the romantic, culturally significant surfing lifestyle itself. 'Dogtown and Z Boys' is a documentary which shows how a group of surfers known as the Zephyr Team revolutionised skateboarding in the mid-1970s.

Hailing from California, the Z-boys spend a summer practising their skateboard techniques in dried-out swimming pools, and go on to make their mark at the 1975 Del Mar Skateboard Internationals.

Includes archive footage and recent interviews with team members.
