Description
Romantic drama and debut feature from writer and director Richard Tanne.
The film follows the events of Barack Obama (Parker Sawyers)'s first date with future wife Michelle Robinson (Tika Sumpter) in the summer of 1989.
The pair enjoy an eventful day in the south side of Chicago, taking in an art exhibition, a picnic and a movie, while sharing thoughts on politics, religion and their hopes for the future.
The cast also includes Vanessa Bell Calloway and Phillip Edward Van Lear.
