When the hero Sion (voice of Shunichi Toki) falls into a spike-filled trap and dies, the world is left without its hero and protector.

Touka (Wataru Kato), the farmer who set the trap to catch rogue demons, wakes up the next morning in Sion's body and discovers that Anri (Ayana Taketatsu), a necromancer, has swapped their souls so that Touka can take Sion's place and save the world.

With the Demon King ready to rise again, Touka must join forces with Anri and his childhood friend Yuna (Hibiku Yamamura) to seal the Gates of Hell.
