Description

Made-for-TV comedy drama based on the novel by Sue Townsend.

Following the election of the Republican Party, the United Kingdom's new Prime Minister, Jack Barker (David Walliams), carries out his campaign promise to abolish the country's monarchy.

Stripped of their vast wealth, the Royal Family is forced to relocate to a council estate in the Midlands, where they struggle to fit in and adjust to their new surroundings.
