Tony Palmer directs this documentary on the flamboyant musician and entertainer, Liberace.
Between the 1950s and the 1970s Liberace was recognised as the best paid entertainer in the world.
He made much use of his wealth, buying antiques, works of art and enjoying a lavish lifestyle.
In 1972 he afforded Palmer access to this lifestyle, offering him a tour of his Hollywood and Palms Springs homes and talking about his life and career.
