Description
Grant Gee directs this documentary following the construction of a museum by author Orhan Pamuk which catalogues the artefacts of an unrequited love in 1970s Istanbul, the subject of his novel, 'The Museum of Innocence'.
The objects belonging to Fusun (Pandora Colin) and collected by Kemal (Mehmet Ergen) presented in the museum, including salt shakers, jewellery and cigarette butts imprinted with lipstick, are used as a vehicle to explore the history of Istanbul.
